How do I register a team?
Click on the home tab and click on the orange JOIN TODAY icon. This will bring you to the Challenge Registration Setup page. If you are registering within a company/organization/community that has provided you with a Group ID, enter that in the Organization Code field. Complete the team information and click the green “Next” icon. Complete the team captain information and click the green “Next” icon. Complete the team member information and click the green “Next” icon. Select the incentive for each of your team members and click the green “Next” icon. This will finally take you to the registration payment page, where you can review your registration and enter payment information and click “Submit” when completed.

What if I didn’t receive a confirmation email?
If you didn’t receive a confirmation email, make sure you double check your spam or junk mail in case your email security filtered our email out. If you still cannot find it, contact us at info@livehealthyiowa.org and we can send you your user name and password.

What is a Group ID?
A Group ID is a code given to businesses, organizations and communities that want to sign up three or more teams as part of their business, organization or community wellness program/initiative. This Group ID gives an Administrator of the business, organization or community the ability to track the teams that sign up using the Group ID.

What is a team captain?
A team captain is the designated leader for the team, and the individual who registers a team. A team captain plays a special role in the ultimate success of the team by being proactive in finding ways to keep the team motivated and moving! Team captains have the ability to track for team members if needed through their team dashboard, and to add team members to an existing team.

What if a team member does not have access to a computer or the internet?
This person can still participate on a Live Healthy Iowa team. The team captain can report this person’s activity and/or weight loss from their own personal team captain dashboard. It will also be the responsibility of the captain to pass the weekly tips and health information on to this participant. We recommend providing this member with a printable tracking sheet (which is provided in the team captain’s toolkit).

What if registration only allows 10 per team, but 11 people want to be on my team?
If there are more than 10 people that you would like to register for a team, you may do so by creating two teams. However, you can only be the Team Captain of one team. You will have to nominate someone on the new team to be the Team Captain.

I have forgotten my password!
If you cannot remember your password, there is password assistance on the Login page.

Do I need to register as a team, or can I be a team of one?
Excluding the Strut Your Pup Challenge where you are essentially a team of one (but with your pooch!) all challenges require you be on a team of 2-10 people. Our team based challenges are what set us apart from other health challenges – it’s a fun and easy way to stay motivated being a part of a team!

Why does the page show "page not available" when I try to register?
If you are using anything but Firefox or Google Chrome for your browser, you may be having issues. If possible, update your web browser or download Firefox or Google Chrome. Please speak with your IT Department if you are not allowed to download new applications onto your computer. To download Firefox or Google Chrome, use your current web browser and search either of those two applications. You can download both Firefox and Google Chrome for free. 

How can I qualify for the incentives?
Each Live Healthy Iowa team that reports at least once per week will be entered into the random drawing for incentives. Because our challenges are self-report, we do not select winners based on most reported minutes of activity, most weight lost, etc.

What form of payment do you take?
All registrations must be completed online. Payment for registrations must be done by credit card (MasterCard, Visa, and Discover). Payment transactions on your bank statement will show "Iowa Sports Foundation" for your registration.

How do I login to my account?
Click on the home tab and click on the orange LOGIN icon at the top of the page. You will then be directed to enter your user name and password. If you are logging in for the first time, check your confirmation email for your user name and password. You will be able to change your password once you log in to your account.

What if I share an email address?
The best way to handle this situation would be to use the email address once, and for the next individual sharing the email leave the Email Field blank in registration. For example, Bob & Sue Smith share an email address. While Bob registers their team, he will enter in the email address once, and leave the Email Field for Sue Smith blank. This way both individuals will have unique usernames.
