About Live Healthy Iowa 5K The Live Healthy Iowa 5K event debuted in 2014, partnering with Iowa communities to provide a fun, healthy 5K run/walk and 1K kid's run. Due to COVID-19, the event was not held in 2020. In 2019, 18 Iowa communities (see below) hosted the nearly 1,200 walkers and runners who committed to get moving!
