Dark Chocolate Chip Oat Bars

Everyone's looking for a healthy snack that'll also hit their chocolate fix. Try making these healthy Dark Chocolate Chip Oat Bars. They are a great snack for outings with the kids or for a "dessert" substitute at a neighborhood grill out. You don't have to tell anyone they're healthy; just let them enjoy the chewy, chocolatey, yuminess of the bars.

Ingredients

1 Large Egg
1/2 Cup Fat-free Yogurt (plain or vanilla)
1/2 Cup Splenda brown sugar blend
1 1/2 Cups Quick Oats
2 Tablespoons milled flaxseed
1/4 Cup Bittersweet chocolate chips
Cooking Spray

Instructions


Whisk egg with yogurt and brown sugar. Blend in oats and flaxseed. Add chocolate chips. Spread mixture into an 8-inch-square pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350 degreeds for 30 minutes. Cut into bars.

This recipe can also be made gluten free by using certified gluten free quick oats.
